Dear Friends,

                       Welcome back to the first edition of 2012! Since last writing we have come through the busy time of Christmas and all that goes with it…….and I found it one of the busiest for a number of years due to the number of deaths that I have been dealing with on top of other things.

That said, we are already into February, daylight hours are beginning to stretch a bit and as folk say at this time of the year ‘we’re heading the right way!’ And that saying has come as a bit of a challenge.

The ‘right way’ could include all sorts of things, one of them being an invite to join us for worship every Sunday. The time has come to promote the church in the community once more; hence the reason for the invitation. If you have not been for a while, do come back. The reason for this is simple; without a congregation the church will fail, including all the other associated groups that fall under its name, which for us is considerable!

On the other hand if you are perhaps reading this magazine and do not have a church connection you are most welcome to try us out. We are not perfect, I am not perfect, but through our imperfection we simply gather to praise God in a meaningful way, and his presence week by week makes it perfect.

We gather to share with each other prior to the services, then listen and share together through our worship: then we depart, ready to face another week with the God who walks with us. Worship works if you come with expectancy and God loves to return our expectancy one hundred fold!.............but you have to be there to experience it.

If you are still not convinced I will continue to pray for that to change, because I am forever coming across more and more people who are living with regrets……..please don’t become one of them.
